Feel Once More With Me

Feel once more with me, at morn-and twilight dim
The wind is light; our course unplotted and fair
For never sun and joy, the stars that were born seeing
My Smile of care, and wandering earth herself afar

Till the shifting soil of life belies our remedies
And somewhere, inside me, I declare we have won
I could dance and live and act, now, as long, long ago
Although you dared to breathe the darkness, never fear

All is gazeless beauty, tightly wound, maddening splendor
Listen, restless, musical voice of spinning prayer wheels
Behold where true Love composed the world’s farewell
Among the longing Isles and many a silent sea arising

I salute the springs of yesteryear, her single deathless rose
And many thoughts passed away there with dismal sheen
I saw that glow, the sinewy thread my life has assembled
Unknown fleeting shadows, dim vales- and nothing more
